Healthcare and Insurance: An even more recent law was passed to protect your rights against discrimination by health insurers or health care providers. In addition, if you are a City of San Francisco employee, you may even have the right to have your operation paid for by your health insurance.
Commercial Establishments: As with sexual orientation, your right to services from businesses is also protected.
